Fundraising Strategy Manager & Special Events Director

Aliya Perry received a Bachelor of Arts in Dance & Theater from Manhattanville College. Since she was young, Aliya has dedicated her life to entertaining and inspiring others through events and dance.

Aliya’s level of event detail guarantees nearly every guest will leave an experience feeling valued, appreciated, and inspired. “People won’t remember the steps or details. They remember how you made them feel.”

For close to 10 years, she has produced or coordinated various entertainment events ranging from 500 to 10,000 attendees. Aliya’s event resume includes The Industry Voice Awards, Dance for Haiti, Pinknic Music Festival, The Grammys, and The Golden Globes after-party. In 2019, she successfully led planning arrangements for the grand opening celebrations and ribbon-cutting ceremony of the new Dancewave Center and has continued contributing memorable Special Event experiences to the organization.

Aliya has also worked as a dance teacher for over 20 years, a professional dancer with BLOC Talent LA, and has gained recognition as an award-winning national competition choreographer.

Aliya combines her dance, entertainment, sales, and public relations experience to contribute fresh new ideas to the nonprofit organization as the Special Events Director and Development Coordinator.
