Individual Giving Manager

NoraNora Monahan (they/them) is a playwright, performer, and non-profit arts advocate. Their professional career in the theater began as a child actor, which they loved and are still processing in therapy. In the years since, Nora became known for writing and starring in the dark musical comedy DIVA: Live From Hell and the queer tragicomedy Aunt Jack, both of which are published by Dramatists Play Service and have been performed all over the country. In addition to their artistic career, Nora has worked in arts administration for The Amoralists, Less Than Rent Theatre, and, most recently, for The Lark Theatre. While serving as Director of Development at The Lark, Nora conceived, launched, and co-facilitated the Beyond the Binary Writers’ Group for gender expansive playwrights. Outside of work, Nora is a voracious reader, an enthusiastic thrift store shopper, and a glamorous, young divorcée.
