D-Wave in Motion Coordinator

The D-Wave in Motion program at Dancewave brings dance programming into New York City public schools and community centers. D-Wave in Motion offers a wide variety of dance disciplines such as African, Hip Hop, Ballet, Jazz, Classical Chinese, Salsa and Creative Movement and serves all boroughs. The D-Wave in Motion Coordinator is directly responsible for overseeing and coordinating all outreach and offsite dance classes through our residency programs, and master classes. Special Events Coordinator

The Special Events Coordinator at Dancewave produces events from conception to completion. This individual is responsible for overseeing all aspects of special events including, but not limited to the Dancewave Gala and Dancing Through College & Beyond. The Special Events Coordinator is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with sponsors, donors and supporters in collaboration with the Development team. Development Assistant

Dancewave seeks a highly organized, and passionate individual to take on the role of Development Assistant. The Development Assistant will work alongside Dancewave’s Executive Director and Managing Director on the organization's individual, institutional, and Board related fundraising activities. The Development Assistant will implement fundraising strategy for Dancewave’s annual fund and other fundraising campaigns. Dance Teaching Artists

We are seeking upbeat and knowledgeable Teaching Artists for K-12 students to teach Hip Hop, Salsa, Musical Theater or African dance. The right candidates will have experience in a public school setting, be highly organized and have strong class management skills. This is an exciting and rewarding position for a dancer who wants to engage with youth!
