CHOREOLAB
AUGUST 16-20

ChoreoLab Dance Intensive offers dancers the chance to expand their learning, creativity and unique artistic voice through Ballet, Modern, ChoreoLab, Hip Hop, and African Dance. Our week-long program supports dancers in strengthening their motor, technical, cognitive, social and emotional skills in addition to developing their unique movement vocabulary through the use of the Language Of Dance tool (LOD). LOD is a unique tool for exploring, creating and recording dance through the use of symbols.

ADVANCED REPERTORY
AUGUST 23-27

Grow your technique to the next level with the renowned Kansas City- and NYC-based dance company The DynamitExperience. Our Advanced Intensive motivates seasoned dancers to challenge themselves and elevate their technical proficiency and artistic abilities. Personalized instruction hones artistry and expression through in-depth improvisational, partnering and compositional techniques. Dancers will gain essential skills for auditions and choreography, and discover new career pathways in the dance field.

CREATIVE DANCE CAMP
AUGUST 9-13

This half-day summer camp introduces young dancers to the fundamentals of ballet, modern, and choreography with an emphasis on creative expression and imaginative play. This camp supports dancers in strengthening their motor, technical, cognitive, social and emotional skills in addition to developing their creativity, coordination, flexibility and musicality.

CLASSES
JUNE 21 - AUGUST 30

Young dances, ages 3-6 can explore weekly creative movement classes this summer!

Currently, Semester-based registration is open for classes. Drop-ins will be available closer to the start of the Summer trimester, as space allows.

INTEGRATIVE ARTS CAMP
AUGUST 2-6

This week-long camp develops young dancers’ artistic voices through movement, music and visual arts. Students dive into the foundations of ballet and modern technique while exploring musicality, choreography and improvisation skills. Students will develop an original musical composition, props, costumes and scenery to showcase at the end-of-week performance!


All Summer programs scheduled to be In-person at the Dancewave Center, following CDC guidelines.

Registered attendees will receive COVID-related updates including Health & Safety protocol, drop-off/pick-up guidelines, mask requirement and more.
