Executive Director

Nicole Touzien (she/her) is a lifelong arts advocate excited to usher Dancewave into its next 25 years of service. For the past ten years, she has worked to advance the mission of renowned NYC nonprofit organizations charged with stewarding open green spaces, promoting youth development and championing arts education.

Nicole earned her Master of Fine Arts degree in Dance from Texas Woman’s University in 2009, and has served as faculty, guest artist and performer across the United States and in Mexico, Canada, Ireland and South Korea.
