Tiffany Mellard is a performing artist and dance educator who is passionate about making dance education accessible to youth of all cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. She is a performer in Hamilton: An American Musical (Puerto Rico and San Francisco companies) and was previously seen in the musicals Memphis (Gateway Playhouse), Chicago the Musical (National Tour), and West Side Story (International Tour). Tiffany is a proud member of Actors Equity Association. Tiffany has also performed as a freelance contemporary dance artist and taught master classes across the country.

Tiffany was a teaching artist with Learning Through an Expanded Arts Program (LEAP) where she taught in New York City public schools for five years and was on the dance faculty at Mind Builders Creative Arts Center. She received her B.F.A. in Dance with a certificate in Arts in Community Practice from Florida State University. She is currently pursuing her Masters of Education (Arts in Education) at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Tiffany understands firsthand the impact that dance education has on the lives of young people and the community at large, which is why she deeply resonates with Dancewave’s mission.
