Kameica Reid, renowned Jamaican choreographer, dance performer and instructor, has worked with artists such as Rev Run from Run DMC, Patra, Tarrus Riley, Sizzla, Beenie Man, Wayne Wonder, Tami Chynn, Alaine, Cecile, Elephant Man, Baby Sham, Alicia Keyz, and more. She is the founding member of two Jamaican dance companies, Wolmer’s Dance Troupe and Dance Theatre Xaymaca, Reid has been trained in and exposed to various dance styles including Ballet, Jazz, Dancehall/Reggae Ska, Modern Contemporary, Hip Hop, Afro-Cuban, Caribbean Folk and African Dance. She is a creative force, mastering and specializing the fusion of the class, technique and drama of dance theatre with hard hitting grit and soul of the street.

Reid’s passion transcends all boundaries and draws in any audience with her soulful presence and execution. She has worked in various school and after school programs in Jamaica and NYC, as well as currently teaching the adult Afro-Caribbean dance class at Dancewave.
